Tadpoles is a response to the tendency people have to ignore the lessons learned from allowing inhumane actions to pervade humanity in times of war. Specifically, it’s a somewhat subtle reaction to human rights abuses that have become all too common in today's geopolitical landscape. The intent though was to tell a story whose setting was deliberately indeterminate and outside the realm of political rhetoric.
Because time and place do not matter - only the actions of the players.
