KID is an exploration of the cultural significance of an animal killing in the context of Latino rites-of-passage. I was interested in examining how exactly does a boy become a man in traditional Latino culture. And what exactly does that mean anyway? To be a man? It's not an easy question to answer, but one that I hope engages the viewer.
