August 23, 2008 TFPF. Just got a call from my girl, Julie D. Mnemosyne Rising was just awarded a grant from the Texas Filmmakers Production Fund. Thanks to Bryan Poyser and the rest of the Austin Film Society crew! Official press release at the AFS site. - mig

August 8, 2008 Space! Just spent the better part of a third of a year shooting my next short film, a sci-fi space film called Mnemosyne Rising. Well actually, it took us most of that time to just build the sets. Eleven days of shooting and three months of building. Click on the link and go see some stills from the dailies. March 29, 2008 Oh Yeah, New York. I'll be out in NYC in late April for the Tribeca Film Festival where KID will screen. I'm looking forward to heading back up there, as it's been a couple of years since I slept on my boy Ralphie's concrete floor for five nites straight. I'll be crashing at his place again and I'm looking forward to the new floor that I'll call my bed. So come on out, see my film, and buy me a Crown & Coke. March 6, 2008 SXSW is here. If you haven't heard, KID will screen at this year's SXSW Film Festival. The film will screen in competition as part of the Reel Shorts 3 program. If ya have a chance, come check it out and say hi. Screening times:

12:00 PM, Sunday March 9th - Alamo Lamar 2
12:00 PM, Tuesday March 11th - Alamo Lamar 2

November 2, 2007 KID Stuff Looks like KID is turning some heads. Just found out that I won a Student Award from the DGA and back in October the film won the Limelight Award at the Ojai Film Festival. I could get used to this... - mig
